REPORT: FBI LEAKED STORIES, THEN USED THEM TO OBTAIN FISA WARRANTS

FBI officials leaked information to the press and then used their stories to help them obtain FISA surveillance warrants, according to a top FBI special agent.

Special Agent Jonathon Moffa, who worked with anti-Trump FBI agent Strzok and lawyer Lisa Page, testified behind closed doors on Friday to the House Judiciary Committee and House Oversight Committees.

“A source with knowledge of his testimony confirmed to Fox News that Moffa said FBI personnel would use media reports based on information they leaked to justify applications for Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act warrants,” Fox News reported Tuesday.

“We’ve learned NEW information suggesting our suspicions are true: FBI/DOJ have previously leaked info to the press, and then used those same press stories as a separate source to justify FISA’s,” Meadows tweeted.

“Unreal. Tomorrow’s Bruce Ohr interview is even more critical. Did he ever do this?”

Unreal. Tomorrow’s Bruce Ohr interview is even more critical. Did he ever do this?

Ohr, a former associate deputy attorney general for the DOJ, gave closed door testimony to congressional investigators Tuesday about the central role he played in the so-called Steele Dossier controversy.

“We are frustrated with how long this reengagement with the Bureau and Mueller is taking,” British spy Christopher Steele texted to Ohr in 2017. “Anything you could do to accelerate the process would be much appreciated.”
